About 425 attendees gathered for this years Indiana State GIS Day to learn about the latest in GIS research, applications, development, education, as well as a vision for Indiana’s geospatial future: 2020 census, public health, transportation, urban planning, drones, water, giant maps, software, algorithms, and much more! Many IUPUI alumni, graduate and undergraduate students, faculty and staff participated in the day’s events, many are state GIS/geospatial employees leading the way in diverse fields.
